WASHINGTON — Before she was freed after 51 days in Hamas captivity, Aviva Siegel made a promise to her husband Keith Siegel.
“I looked into his eyes and said, ‘You be strong for me. And I’ll be strong,’” Siegel recalled in an interview.
For the past eight months, Aviva has campaigned tirelessly to bring home Keith, one of the eight American citizens still held hostage in the Gaza Strip.
