As Israel's raids grow in West Bank, so does Palestinian support for armed groups

The armed factions in the West Bank are enjoying overwhelming popular support as the cycle of violence intensifies.

RAMALLAH, West Bank — Palestinian armed  groups have increased in popularity and numbers in the West Bank as Israel increased its security raids into the occupied territory.

It's a catch-22, as these groups' rising political weight is causing concerns in Israel, but whose actions and response is feeding into the popularity of the militant organizations.
