Oman lifts ban on vaccinated travelers from 18 countries

Oman is loosening restrictions on travel amid a decline in COVID-19 cases across the Gulf country.

Oman will permit travelers with proof of vaccination to enter the country beginning Sept. 1, the Civil Aviation Authority said Monday.

In the circular posted to Twitter, the authority said it was lifting a ban on 18 countries that had been in place since June.
