What does Donald Trump's latest $200 million deal with Saudi Arabia entail?
The former president, who is now the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party, has long had significant business ties to Saudi Arabia via his properties and the LIV Golf league.
Former US President Donald Trump’s company announced a major deal with a Saudi developer on Tuesday, further strengthening his connections to the kingdom just as he became the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party.
The Trump Organization and Dar Global unveiled the planned Trump International Villas, a luxury residential development. The villas will be located in Dar Global’s Aida coastal development east of Muscat, along the Gulf of Oman. The project is worth $200 million, the Trump Organization and Dar Global said in a statement.
Dar Global, based in Dubai, is the international subsidiary of the Saudi real estate company Dar Al Arkan.
The Trump Organization is additionally developing a golf club in Aida. The villas will be located within the golf complex, according to the organization.
